Recorded March, April, and June 1989, in Tokyo, Japan.

All tracks originally included in the withdrawn Learning Curve CD-R series, 1999; otherwise previously unreleased. The exceptions are 'Fluorescent lighting', the video for which was uploaded to YouTube in 2007 (and re-uploaded in 2011); and the bonus track ('My brain is cream o' wheat'), previously unreleased in any form or format.
