Levels of conductance

about

The ninth entry in the Pure improv series is this 34-minute piece made using a Soma Enner, Landscape Stereo Field (with occasional input from a Soma QO), and two Soma Cosmos units running through a Mackie ProFX12v3 mixer with the ping-pong delay effect engaged. The recording was normalized to a peak of –1 dB, and the extra silences at the beginning and end were cut; otherwise, the piece is presented exactly as recorded.

The Enner and the Stereo Field are both tactile instruments, with connections made and sounds controlled through skin-to-surface contact.

about

Tinty Music Bellingham, Washington

Fabricating sounds since 1987. Unafraid to rush headlong into obscurity for the sake of art and making sense out of the world. Folds, spindles, and mutilates as needed. Brickwalling not allowed.
