about

Twelve new pieces made using only the Soma Pipe and Ether.

The Pipe is designed mainly to be used with the voice (via contact microphones), but can also function as an external effects processor.

Ether is described as "a kind of anti-radio", capturing everything that the typical radio would filter out in the name of locking onto a clean signal. (You can read more about it here: somasynths.com/ether/)

Together they comprise a simple, efficient unit for producing a variety of washes, hums, crackles, static, growls, and screeches without the need for any external effects processors.

about

Tinty Music Bellingham, Washington

Fabricating sounds since 1987. Unafraid to rush headlong into obscurity for the sake of art and making sense out of the world. Folds, spindles, and mutilates as needed. Brickwalling not allowed.
